Your Second Visit to Our Kent Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

On your second visit you'll come in and be greeted by our helpful staff. They will show you to a room and the doctor will then discuss your exam and x-ray findings with you and how chiropractic can help you in your situation. He explain chiropractic treatment and answer any questions you may have. Then you'll experience a chiropractic adjustment and the doctor will explain home care and when your next appointment will be. The second visit usually takes about 30 minutes.

A Typical Visit to Our Kent Practice

A typical office visit consists of a brief consultation with the chiropractor of how treatment is progressing and answer any questions. Then he will do a brief exam of your spine to determine where he needs to adjust that visit. Most patients then usually get some type of muscle work, massage or stretching and then adjusted. This usually takes less than 10 minutes.

Dr. Kevin Asks some important questions of interest to Kent residents - Chiropractor Kent Dr. Kevin Asks...

Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
Where do most Kent residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Kent newborn.
