Our Approach
Chiropractic Techniques
Matched To Your Exam.
We don’t start from a fixed technique or a pre-set package of visits. Your clinical exam — and imaging review when appropriate — determines the approach that fits your condition, comfort, and goals.
How We Choose Your Approach
Exam First, Technique Second
Every plan starts with a clinical exam, and MRI review when appropriate, before we recommend any course of care. From there, Dr. Andersen and Dr. McInerny select from a range of hands-on and low-force techniques based on what your exam shows, your comfort level, and whether you’re recovering from an injury or maintaining long-term spinal health.
Techniques We Use
A Range Of Hands-On & Low-Force Options
Manual Spinal Adjustments
Hands-on manipulation to restore normal motion to a joint that isn’t moving the way it should.
Low-Force & Instrument-Assisted Adjusting
A gentler, instrument-assisted option for patients who prefer or need less force — including during pregnancy or with more sensitive joints.
Extremity Adjusting
Joint-specific care for the shoulders, hips, knees, and wrists, when your exam points to an extremity issue rather than the spine.
Soft Tissue Therapy
Hands-on work for the muscles, ligaments, and tendons surrounding an injured area, often paired with adjustments.
Rehabilitative Exercise
Targeted exercises to support the results of your adjustments and build long-term stability between visits.
MRI-Informed Treatment Planning
When imaging is appropriate, Dr. Andersen’s MRI interpretation training helps shape a plan around what your scans actually show.
Who We Adapt Care For
Two Patient Paths, One Clinical Standard
Personal Injury Recovery
Post-accident and work-injury rehabilitation, coordinated with attorneys, insurers, and other providers on shared patients.
Pregnancy & Sensitive Care
Positioning and technique adapted for each trimester, or for any patient who needs a gentler approach.
Long-Term Wellness
Ongoing maintenance care and rehabilitative exercise for patients maintaining spinal health over time.
